The poet Fan Chengda in the Southern Song Dynasty wrote in Rejoicing Over the Sunny Day,

窗間梅熟落蒂，
墻下筍成出林。
連雨不知春去，

The poet Liu Yuxi in the Tang Dynasty wrote in Bamboo Branch Song,

The west is veiled in rain, the east enjoys sunshine. My dear one is as deep in love as day is fine.

道是無晴卻有晴。
It will be sunny when rain stops. Life is full of good times.
