Residents stayed in their homes. As the pandemic broke out, Zhengzhou authorities immediately took targeted measures in lockdown areas and controlled areas. People observed every requirement made by authorities to help fight against the pandemic.?
讓該靜的靜了下來。社會面管控從嚴從緊，封控區、管控區管理細之又細，全市人民在慢和靜中鼓足干勁，攜手對抗疫情。
Response forces were busy serving citizens as they controlled the pandemic. Supply deliveries and express services are allowed to operate with certificates, to ensure people have access to living materials. More than 274,000 volunteers in 3,742 teams are working throughout the city to help carry out response efforts.?
讓該動的動了起來。全市保供車輛、快遞外賣憑證通行，群眾生活物資需求保障到位；3742支隊伍、27.4萬余名志愿者身穿“紅馬甲”活躍在城市大街小巷。
The orderly but strong response effort is owed to the hard work of those who kept stepping forward in face of dangers and the support of 13 million citizens.?

Philipp Kirsch, a teacher from Australia, loves playing with his pet cat on his balcony with a small garden when he is not teaching online. He even grows his own strawberries. He felt shocked by the efficiency of the nucleic acid test conducted in Zhengzhou. He felt satisfied with the well-ordered supermarket, where he could buy what he wanted. He felt happy when he had more time to communicate with his students.
